What Is Page Art Gilding?
Art gilding is a luxury page-edge finishing technique where the Bible’s page edges are and then overlaid with a subtle dye. Art gilding provides a Bible with a unique design while protecting the pages from smudges or other wear and tear marks. Art gilding is only available for new Bibles or used Bibles that have little to no marks on the page edges. See below for the colors options offered for art gilding.

Speckled Page Edges
Speckled pages refer to a decorative edge treatment where the edges of a book’s pages are spattered or stippled with ink, dye, or pigment. This technique has been historically used to enhance the appearance of books, protect the pages from dust and moisture, and prevent signs of wear. If you are interested in speckled page edges, please include that in the additional info section of the Custom Rebind Form.
